IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, AND OF THE SON, AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AMEN.
I. OPENING PRAYER
Abba Father, we your children kneel and bow down in the spirit of oneness with this community of believers You have so lovingly gathered. We come to claim Your promise that when two or three are gathered in your name, there You will be in their midst. Almighty God, we believe and declare Your presence amongst us. Look down with mercy and kindness upon us who are gathered to implore Your blessings.
Accept us today, in spite of all our transgressions and unworthiness. Make us humble and single-minded in serving you so that we may receive the reward, your Son Jesus has promised us when He died on the cross. In 2 Cor. 4:10-11, always carrying about in the body of the dying Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our body. For we who live are constantly being giving up to death for the sake of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh, for it is God who liveth not us.
